1895. Revised Edition. 380 pages. No dust jacket. Red cloth with gilt lettering. Contains black and white illustrated frontispiece. Pages are mildly tanned and foxed, but text remains clear. Visible marking to some pages throughout, but text is not affected. Binding is firm. Heavy cracking to rear hinge. Ex-libris stickers to front pastedown and reverse side of front free endpaper. Boards and spine have minimal shelf-wear, with mild corner bumping and crushing to ends. Spine is severely sunned. Gilt remains bright. Moderate rubbing and scuffing overall.
