God is the ultimate matchmaker.
Why is dating, particularly for Christians, so challenging? One reason is that interacting with individuals of the opposite sex while you are looking for Mr. or Mrs. Right can, at times, be a lonely, confusing, frustrating, and challenging experience. In his book Lord, Help Me . . . I Have a Date!, Dr. Hancock will help you gain insight into how to avoid some of the pitfalls of dating and to meet those challenges. Dr. Hancock also talks very candidly about:
the importance of being patient while dating by using the acronym SLOW (stop, listen, observe, wait);
how crucial it is to understand yourself prior to starting the dating journey;
how sex prior to marriage will complicate most relationships;
the fact that you need to HALT when you are hungry, angry, lonely, or tired because thats when you tend to make your biggest mistakes; and
the positives and negatives of online or long-distance dating and his personal experiences with both.
