nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - Poems of Memory, Nature, Travel, and the Human JourneySome journeys take us across landscapes.Others take us across a lifetime. The Long Crossing is a contemporary poetry collection that explores the places we travel through and the inner worlds we carry within us. Moving between memory and presence, solitude and companionship, nature and history, Fu Bing's poems illuminate the quiet moments that often shape a human life.Drawing inspiration from both the lyrical traditions of Chinese poetry and the realities of contemporary experience, these poems reflect on journeys through cities and mountains, friendships and farewells, seasons and changing landscapes. The collection invites readers to pause and consider the subtle emotions hidden within ordinary days-the memories that linger, the encounters that transform us, and the enduring search for meaning amid life's uncertainties.Throughout the book, nature becomes a language of feeling, travel becomes a path of self-discovery, and everyday experience reveals unexpected depth. Flowers, rivers, roads, distant horizons, and passing conversations all become part of a larger meditation on time, belonging, loss, hope, and human connection.Written with emotional honesty, vivid imagery, and quiet reflection, The Long Crossing offers readers a poetic space in which to slow down, observe more carefully, and reconnect with the richness of lived experience. Fu Bing's voice is both intimate and expansive-rooted in personal observation yet resonating with universal concerns shared across cultures and generations. For readers of contemporary poetry, literary reflection, nature writing, and contemplative journeys of self-discovery, this collection offers an invitation to cross the distance between the external world and the inner self.At once personal and universal, The Long Crossing reminds us that every life is a journey shaped by memory, transformed by experience, and illuminated by moments of unexpected beauty.…
