Item description from seller
Language: English. About The Book: The Logic of Figures, or Comparative Results of Homoeopathic and Other Treatments by Thomas Lindsley Bradford is a statistical analysis comparing the effectiveness of homeopathic treatments with conventional medical practices. Published in the late 19th century, the book compiles data on patient outcomes to argue that homeopathy offers safer and more successful alternatives to traditional medicine, particularly in reducing mortality rates. Bradford meticulously documents cases from various hospitals and practices, aiming to substantiate homeopathy’s efficacy through empirical evidence. This work was instrumental in advocating for homeopathy and remains a reference for its historical and scientific claims. About The Author: Thomas Lindsley Bradford (1847–1918) was an American physician, historian, and prominent figure in homeopathy. Born in Francestown, New Hampshire, Bradford received his medical education at Harvard and later graduated from the Homeopathic Medical College of Pennsylvania. He became known for his extensive research and publications on homeopathic medicine, including The Life and Letters of Samuel Hahnemann and The History of the Homeopathic Medical College of Pennsylvania. His bibliographic work, The Pioneers of Homeopathy, documents influential figures and developments in the field.
