Not dated. Edition and printing not known. In near fine bright red cloth boards, gilt titles to spine. The boards are very tight, straight and clean; slight wear to spine ends. Very lightly foxed free end papers. The page block is very firm, even and is unmarked. Illustrated with b/w figures and drawings, b/w frontispiece plate. No dedications etc. Near fine condition. In very good pictorial dust jacket with colour image of locomotive to front and white titles on navy background. The jacket is clean; slight edge-wear, with little chips. Not price clipped. Inside protective plastic sleeve.

Clevedon Community Bookshop, co-operatively owned, opened on 31 December 2011 and now has a general stock of approximately 20,000 books. Our Bookshop is in Copse Road in Clevedon and is open every day, seven days a week, from 10.00am to 5.00pm. The Bookshop Co-operative comprises nearly 650 members from around the world and was set up to stop the only second-hand bookshop in our town from closing. The benefit of being a member/shareholder is only social: no-one benefits financially. All profits are used to improve the bookshop and its stock, and, through events, to contribute to the literacy and literary profile of our town. Shipping Terms

We pack our books in corrugated book wrap or book boxes. We try to respond to orders the same day as we receive them or during the next business day. Shipping costs are based on books weighing up to 1.1 lb, or 0.5KG. If your book order is particularly heavy or oversized, we may contact you to request an additional payment to cover extra postage costs.
