Item description from seller

HOWE, JOHN, M.A. (1630-1705) Chaplain to Cromwell. Joint pastor of Haberdashers' Hall. The Living Temple; or, The Notion Improved That a Good Man is the Temple of God – Part I, Containing Animadversions on Spinosa, and a French Writer Pretending to Confute Him, etc. – Part II. London: Religious Tract Society, n.d. 8vo. 473 pp. Self Dedication. The last paragraph in the books states that this can be found annexed to this or have apart by itself at your own choice. Faded gilt title on spine. Contents clean and unmarked with many of the pages uncut (therefore unused!). Previous owner's signature on ffep.
