What if you were as proactive in your family as you are in your career or business?
Living Room Leadership confronts an uncomfortable truth: many of us are better leaders at work than at home. After nearly divorcing in 2019, Brittany and Geoff Anderson uprooted the cultural myth that personal growth is an individual pursuit—and discovered that the family presents our most powerful leadership training ground, with ripple effects that extend far beyond the home.
Through powerful storytelling and research-backed tools using play, LEGO, and more, they show you how to:
- Proactively lead your family through the lens of strengths—instead of reactively solving problems
- Cocreate a vision, purpose, and values that anchor your family
- Activate a culture of play that is detached from screens and distractions
- Raise authentic leaders equipped for an AI-driven world
This isn't just another leadership or parenting book—it is an invitation to lead your family with the same intentionality as the world's most successful organizations—by cocreating a strong family identity, vision, and culture.
For anyone who wants to break generational patterns, transform their leadership, and truly invest in their children's growth, this book will help you harness your power to plant a family tree that is less about the past—and more about the future.

About the Author
Certified Coach + Co-Founder of Renala Brittany Anderson is the co-founder of Renala, which helps families become vision-driven leaders—beginning at home. Brittany’s pas¬sion for family-first leadership was sparked by her own story as a mom and military spouse to a now-retired Air Force One pilot. Their fierce pursuit of career growth left them on the brink of divorce in 2019, until they discovered the power of transformational work not just in transforming their family—but their leadership in every sphere of their lives. Over the last 20 years, Brittany has led stra¬tegic and transformational initiatives as a jour¬nalist, storyteller, and lead facilitator for some of the most well-known nonprofits, compa¬nies, and government agencies - including World Vision, USAID, and the National Cancer Institute. She is a certified transformational coach, Clifton Strengths strategist, and a LEGO SERIOUS PLAY certified facilitator. Brittany will equip you with the tools you need to activate strengths, set bold vision, and even invest in your family as a means for rapidly and sustainably growing your creative leadership.
