When liver disease strikes, every decision matters.
A subtle change in liver enzymes. An unexpected case of jaundice. A patient with unexplained ascites. A rapidly deteriorating case of acute liver failure. These are moments that demand more than textbook knowledge—they require clinical confidence, sound judgment, and a deep understanding of how the liver works and why it fails.
I'm here to guide you through every step of that journey.
Inside The Liver Disease Handbook: Comprehensive Coverage of Liver Anatomy, Pathophysiology, Disease Recognition, Diagnostic Methods, Medical Interventions, and Long-Term Clinical Management, I take you beyond memorizing facts and into the real-world practice of hepatology. Together, we'll explore the remarkable anatomy and physiology of the liver, uncover the mechanisms behind liver disease, master systematic clinical assessment, and develop the diagnostic reasoning needed to recognize both common and life-threatening hepatic conditions. From acute liver failure and viral hepatitis to cirrhosis, portal hypertension, hepatic encephalopathy, ascites, and long-term management strategies, every chapter is designed to strengthen your clinical decision-making with practical, evidence-informed guidance.
Whether you're preparing for ward rounds, studying for examinations, caring for patients in the emergency department, or expanding your expertise in internal medicine, this handbook serves as a trusted companion that bridges foundational science with modern clinical practice.
Inside this comprehensive handbook, you'll discover:- A clear understanding of liver anatomy, physiology, and normal hepatic function.
