Review
The text, sensitive to young people's fears of change and attention, gives the trees feelings every child will be able to identify with:
seewhile gold foil stars add that little extra festive sparkle. Clear, large type makes this book easy for young readers to enjoy, and the colourful pictures will amuse little ones while parents read aloud. Joyful, bright and inspiring, Little Tree is a lovely addition to any Christmas stocking. (Ages 4 and up.) --Lucie Naylor
i will comfort you
because you smell so sweetly
i will kiss your cool bark
and hug you safe and tight
just as your mother would,
only don't be afraid
