About the Author
Amelia Frances Mangham is a traditional illustrator based in South Yorkshire. She paints all her artwork by hand, using ink and watercolour to create warm, whimsical scenes full of texture and glowing light. Her favourite colour is yellow ochre, and she especially loves painting animals with a soft spot for dogs! Amelia is autistic, and growing up, art was her way of expressing herself and connecting with others. Inspired by the illustrated books she loved as a child, Amelia is proud to carry on the legacy of the traditional female illustrators who came before her, bringing comfort, joy, and imagination to a new generation.
