Print on Demand. This book explores the emergence and significance of new literary forms in the French and English languages in the 17th and 18th centuries. The author contrasts the rise of romance and the revival of poetry during this period, examining the influence of prominent authors such as Wordsworth, Scott, and Shelley. The book suggests that the shift away from the classical standards of the 18th century allowed for a more liberal and romantic approach to literature, setting the stage for the further evolution of these genres. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book.
