Very Good: shows light wear to the extremities; mild rubbing and a bit of faint soiling to the front panel; slight spine lean; former owner's name and date at the front free endpaper; a superficial, but nevertheless noticeable scratch for several inches of the backstrip. The binding is secure; the text is clean. Despite some minor flaws, remains a handsome copy: clean, sturdy, and quite presentable. NOT a Remainder, Book-Club, or Ex-Library. 8vo. (8.25 x 6 x 1.25 inches). xxviii, 554 pages. Rust-toned cloth over boards with gilt titles at the backstrip. Language: English and Middle English. Weight: 1 pound, 12.6 ounces. Hardback: No DJ 'as issued'.
