A Whispering Garden Story
In a quiet corner of the garden, Leo and Maya discover something unexpected — a smooth, warm stone resting beneath the oak tree.
It doesn’t speak.
It doesn’t move.
It doesn’t try to be anything other than what it is.
At first, the stone seems ordinary. But as the wind rises, the clouds pass, and the world grows loud, the children begin to notice something deeper.
The stone remains.
Through gentle moments of listening, breathing, and simply sitting still, Leo and Maya learn that they do not have to chase every thought or follow every storm. There is something steady inside them — something warm and solid that does not rush and does not leave.
The Listening Stone is a calming, beautifully illustrated picture book about stillness, emotional regulation, and quiet confidence. Paired with the companion song “Still Like a Stone,” this story invites children (and grown-ups) to discover that they are already enough — just as they are.
Part of The Whispering Garden Series, each book includes:
• A full story
• A closing illustration
• A companion song lyric page
• A listening guide for grown-ups
Perfect for bedtime, classrooms, and quiet moments in between.
Because sometimes the strongest thing we can do…
is be still.
