"The doctor has little to lose and everything to gain by letting the sick into her heart. If she does, they can share as few others can the wonder, terror and exultation of being on the edge of being." (Anonymous)
For over 25 years, Dr. Joanne B. Dragun has traveled this path with her patients. These inspiring stories give insight into the precious moments of caring for the person beyond the cancer. You will smile, you will be inspired, you will experience moments of tragedy and courage. This is a touching tribute to courageous cancer patients and their families. Dr. Dragun says, "This is the humanity of cancer."
