Item description from seller

Very Good, graded in hand by the seller. The interior carries the grade: pages are clean with no highlighting and no writing found in the pages examined, no dog-eared corners, nothing torn or missing, and the binding is intact and functional. The outside shows honest use: there is soiling and discolouration on the cover, most noticeably across the upper portion near the teal band, along with minor scuffing and general signs of handling. A price sticker on the back cover partly overlaps the barcode area. No library stamps, call-number labels, card pockets, date-due slips or barcode stickers are present, so this is not an ex-library copy.

Store description

For 15 years I've been an Oregon CPA, and for 10 of those I taught tax and accounting at the college level. But my proudest work has nothing to do with numbers: I homeschooled my daughter from preschool through freshman year and in September she will be starting the 10th grade - homeschooling. This season taught me a good book can shape how a child sees the world. Every title I choose has to engage young minds to think critically and navigate this world with real understanding. Every book has a story — but it only means something when a child lives it. Why Papa Duck? I was "Uncle Duck" to my nieces and nephews for years — duck pictures fill my office, Mallards are my favorite. When my grandson arrived last year, the family asked what he'd call me. There was only one answer. CPA by training, teacher by calling, homeschool dad by experience, Papa Duck by love.
