Add to basket(Nightstand Book NB 1567 R). Fashion model themes. Appears unread. Slight rubbing/scuffing, slight toning to spine. Foot of cover slightly misttrimmed (binding quirk) leaving a narrow white strip Cover copy: SHE WAS EASY on the eyes, in the way she swung her lush figure, and in the way she lived, but Melanie was only a wanton on the surface where men saw her as a lingerie model who would go for anything, do anything - with anybody. Yet underneath the wild silk and lace undies, inside the beautiful body of Melanie Mitchell, was a frightened girl who had known the degradations of too many bestial men, drunk with their own passions.underneath she wanted real love, a way out of the false and twisted world an underwear model knows. She found new evil in Nick Hillman, the depraved lecher who tried to bend her to his lustful ways; she found torment and unhappiness in her lovely room-mate, Dierdre; but in Val Tallant, the struggling writer, she found hope, a way to love, a way to escape being a SINFUL MODEL! First paragraph(s): LOOKING OUT THE CRIME-STREAKED windows of the bus, she caught her first glimpse of the city. There was certainly nothing pretty about it, she was forced to concede, disappointment rising within her. After all her dreams she had expected so much more. Acres of desolate wasteland, of littered garbage, the foul, putrid-looking waters of a river. On the other side of the highway more scabrous, defiled landscape, only now dotted with sprawling, smoke-belching industrial complexes, the sulphur piles, the spaghetti tangle of silvered pigs as they swept past the refineries and cracking plants. Size: 4.25" x 6.4". 190 pages. Text unmarked. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. Some age-toning to page edges. Slight shelf-wear and bumping to corners. Nightstand Book NB 1567 R Illustrator: Harold W. McCauley. Quantity Available: 1. Shipped Weight: Under 12 oz. Category: Vintage Paperbacks::Sleaze 1960s; Inventory No: 031535.
