The city remembers everything. Except the ones it wants to forget.
Inès Benamar's brother Noé has been erased from existence. His room is a freshly painted wall. His face has been edited out of every family photo. Her own mother doesn't remember she ever had a son.
He has been claimed by L'Oubli-The Forgetting.
But Inès refuses to let him disappear. Driven by a single clue, she plunges into the Paris Catacombs and discovers Line 0-a ghost train that runs on lost memories, preying on the undocumented, the poor, and the abandoned.
Its passengers are children who have been erased. Its currency is the past. And its conductor is Noé-older, colder, and wearing a conductor's hat.
Bound together by loss, Inès joins The Turnstile Kids, a crew of forgotten teens who refuse to disappear. They don't have tickets. They don't have papers. But they have each other. And they have a plan.
You can't punch a system. You beat it with paperwork.
Line 0: We Remember For You is a dark, gritty YA urban fantasy about love, resistance, and the war against being erased.
For fans of Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere and Tracy Deonn's Legendborn.
