nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - Light At Eventide is a historical narrative written by L.H. in 1858. The book tells the story of Lydia M-, a converted Jewess who found salvation in Christianity. The narrative is set in the mid-19th century and takes the reader through Lydia's life, from her early years as a Jewess in London to her conversion to Christianity and her eventual move to America.Lydia's story is one of struggle and redemption. She faces many challenges as a Jewess in London, including discrimination and persecution. However, her life takes a turn for the better when she meets a Christian missionary who introduces her to the teachings of Jesus Christ.Lydia's conversion to Christianity is not without its challenges. She faces opposition from her family and community, who view her conversion as a betrayal of her Jewish heritage. However, Lydia remains steadfast in her faith and eventually moves to America, where she finds a new community of believers who accept her for who she is.Throughout the book, L.H. provides a vivid and detailed account of Lydia's life, painting a picture of the struggles and triumphs of a converted Jewess in the 19th century. The book is a powerful testament to the transformative power of faith and the resilience of the human spirit. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.…
