About the Author
Alejandra's first book is inspired by her own experience as a mother, thinking about the legacy she would leave for her sons and her experience as an arts educator working with students of all ages. She truly believes that raising children who are confident in themselves, respectful of others, positive about life and encouraged to explore their creativity through art and music will result in more fulfi lled and nurturing adults. Alejandra is a visual artist working primarily with Paper-Mache. In 2000 she moved from Mexico to Manitoba, Canada where she lives with her husband, two sons and their family dog. She loves art, colour, music, her family, and life.
