New, Uncirculated - J.D. Sumner is known by his many fans and friends as one of the greatest innovators in the history of Gospel music. J. D. Sumner's first biography was written in 1971 by noted writer, Bob Terrell. This book has long been out of print. Sumner's wife, Mary, passed away in 1992, and shortly after her death, J. D. and Bob Terrell re-wrote the book, in this updateded and expanded version, "The Life and Times of J. D. Sumner". This book, too, is now out of print, but we have a few copies left. A "must read" for serious Gospel Music fans, with facinating stories and pictures.
