Volume one has a small publisher's slip bound in, indicating that this is a subscriber's edition. Small 4tos. Cloth worn, rubbed and chipped on edges, bruised at spine tips, some small marks and a little scattered mottling. Spines sunned. Some toning on endpapers only and a little faint and scattered spotting. A comprehensive biography of David Lloyd George, liberal politician, Welshman, social reformer and Prime Minister.
