1877. No Edition Stated. 270 pages. No dust jacket. Green cloth with gilt decoration. Contains black and white illustrated frontispiece, with fold out map to rear of textblock. Pages are lightly tanned, heavier to edges and endpapers, but text remains clear. Visible marks to pages and textbook edges, but text is unaffected. Binding is firm. Label, small inscription and noticeable water stain to front free endpaper. Boards and spine have minimal shelf-wear, with mild corner bumping and crushing to ends. Gilt remains bright.
