Moderately soiled brick-red cloth with gilt titles and light wear to base of spine and corners. Binding firm. Moderate foxing to exterior page edges. Light dampstain to rear endpapers. Contents clean and bright with black and white illustrations. Includes new chapters and illustrations. Inscribed by Dr. Richard Mudd, grandson of Samuel Mudd, who privately published the book.
