With an engraved frontispiece to volumes I and II. Contemporary tan half calf, with raised bands and gilt titles to black labels on spines. Marbled paper over boards. Spotting to preliminaries. Light black ink ownership notes to free endpapers, dated 1866. Wear to board edges; corners bumped. Light speckling of white paint over spine of volume I. Good.
