Waco, Texas. Summer 2008.
One night changes everything.
Years later, sixteen-year-old Sincere is trying to turn his gift for music into a future bigger than the world around him. He has talent, ambition, and dreams that stretch far beyond Waco—but growing up means learning that talent alone doesn’t decide where life takes you.
Marlo is chasing something of his own.
As the two young men navigate music, money, loyalty, family, relationships, and the streets, their lives begin moving through a world shaped by choices made long before either of them was old enough to understand them.
People from the past still carry secrets.
Old relationships come with unfinished business.
And every decision pulls Sincere and Marlo closer to truths that have been buried for years.
What begins as a story about two young men searching for their place in the world slowly becomes something much bigger—a story about family, ambition, betrayal, survival, and the consequences one generation leaves behind for the next.
Because the past doesn’t disappear just because nobody talks about it.
And sooner or later, every sin comes due.
This Life of Sin: Exodus is the first installment of a gritty, character-driven urban saga where music, family, love, loyalty, and the streets collide—and where the choices of yesterday may already have decided the price of tomorrow.
