This book was originally published in 1857 and has a note inside: "Rebound 9/12/32, Earl Geist", The front and back are original leather, blind stamped design covers, while the spine is wrapped in black leather. Inside, a note says "Gift" and written In ink "C. A. Gilbert, 1920" probably as a used book. There is a stamp "Methodist Church, Warrenburg, MO. " Hinges have been repaired. Pages have some foxing, gilded edges, and each illustration has a tissue page for protection. Still a very nice old book; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 157 pages. Seller Inventory # 134417
