Brown boards and spines, the latter lettered in gilt; water stain on frony margins of both rear panels, both spines marked and discoloured and frayed around their bases. Internally all four gutters between brown endpapers have exposed webbing. Both tissue guarded photo frontis' and title pages a little foxed; name in pencil on title page of vol 2.
