Half leather binding with rubbed corners. Very elegant spine with raised bands and gilt title (abbreviated). Edges: (top is stained, fore and bottom edges are marbled (faded). The binding is tight. Marbled endpapers - see image of front endpapers, the pastedown of which has a nameplate. One of the front endpapers has a little writing in pencil (about the pseudonym).
