About the Author:

Pauline Murray is the frontwoman for legendary underground punk rock band Penetration. She was a member of the infamous Durham Contingent and was at punk rock's Ground Zero throughout 1976 and 1977.

Between splitting the band and reforming it years later, Murray collaborated on projects with members of Durutti Column, Buzzcocks, and the Only Ones.
