Are you finding it difficult making sense of life and death?
Looking into death is surely one area of life that most of us will put off for as long as possible.
But far from being an ending, could death take us to a place we have been to before – a place that is familiar to us?
In this book, the author looks at the case for believing that we not only survive death but we have gone through it many times before. It’s the way it works…
Join me in this journey and see what you make of my take on the matter.
This book has the potential to change the world view of its readers. It offers a broad yet very detailed sweep across the whole spectrum of the subject matter, which makes the book wide-ranging and inclusive... This is a very individual and readable book which is written from the heart, and which reaches out with great warmth to its readers.
Joanne Harrington, Editor
The book includes discussion on topics as diverse as:
- The Good Life
- Human evolution: And what happened around 50 thousand years ago?
- Ghosts and the paranormal
- Near-death experience
- Past lives of children
- Past life regression
- Who we are as spiritual beings
- Karma and reincarnation
- What we might do with six months left to live

About the Author
About the author
Francis O'Neill writes, in an investigative approach, about mind, body & spirit matters. He has spent over 40 years studying the spiritual and esoteric perspective on life. He currently has two books available: 1. Life and Death: Making Sense of It; 2. Steps to Health, Wealth and Inner Peace. Others are in the pipeline.
Some background on the writer
As well as being a professional astrologer – and before taking up a writing career – he spent a good deal of his working life in archaeology and as a lecturer in adult education.
He was born on the south coast of Ireland, but grew up, and has spent most of his life, in England. Raised as a Catholic, he later questioned his religion and became a fully-signed up atheist/existentialist by his late teens.
He says that he would have continued on in his non-spiritual direction except for the occasional paranormal experience that made him question his then worldview. Also seeing UFOs, on two occasions in particular, didn't help him to maintain the notion that everything, that didn't fit into a secular view of the world, could be explained away by science as nonsense.
The cruncher, he describes as his "Road to Damascus" was while reading a book by Carl Jung. This experience helped him to turn 180 degrees in the direction of what he came to believe.
From that point on, he sought to understand life from a spiritual perspective. He writes, that, "In my studies I was still ploughing through books based upon materialistic, reductionist and mechanistic thinking, but now I was also looking into all kinds of 'fringe' topics too."
These topics included astrology, which he began a serious study of – taking diplomas in it. He says that (spiritual) astrology has become the foundation stone for much of his understanding of how life actually works.
Vocation
Work-wise he spent a good chunk of his life in archaeology, supervising rescue excavations (mostly prehistoric or Roman) in the UK. Later he went into teaching, and ran his astrology practice alongside.
He now writes on the philosophical and spiritual matters close to his heart.
