Cancer said, "impossible!" God said, "watch this!"
Riveting. Shocking. Eye-opening. This beautifully written memoir may be the ultimate victory-over-cancer story. As featured on the cover of Publisher's Weekly - Life, Cancer and God, tells the true story of Paula Black's journey from advanced-stage cancer to near death... and to complete healing.
They gave me months to live. God gave me a future.
In the prime of life-as a wife, mother, and businesswoman-Paula heard the dreaded words: "It's cancer." Doctors gave her 3 to 6 months to live. Her husband, Dale, a former airline pilot instructor turned pastor, became her full-time researcher, tirelessly investigating both conventional and alternative treatments.
Cancer may be the starting line, but it's not the finish line.
What they discovered changed everything. Through prayer, study, and divine guidance, they uncovered the Body-Soul-Spirit Approach-a way of treating the whole person by addressing root causes of disease, not just symptoms.
Cancer... beating the unbeatable.
Eighteen months after diagnosis, Paula's advanced-stage cancer was gone-without chemotherapy, radiation, or drugs. Her story demonstrates that with God's direction, faith, and persistence, healing is possible even when doctors say otherwise.
Cancer didn't get the final word. God did.
Easy to read and filled with hope. It's a journey that will make you laugh, cry, hold your breath, and shout for joy.
