This biography is based on material gathered at first hand during the course of several visits to the continent, and its value as a personal document is enhanced by the author's own recollection and impressions of Brahms, which were the result of personal contact with and actual study under the great master. Pages are moderately tanned. The book cover has some minor tears and wear and tear.
