Item description from seller

This is the 1888 printing, NOT a modern reprint. Ex-seminary library with typical library features: call number label base of the spine, card pocket, usual array or rubber stamps. Chip to the top of the spine, otherwise little wear to the binding. Pages tight and clean with no marks. Front flyleaf missing. No odor. No water damage. No soiling. No sun fading. Rubber stamp "Property of Rama Coomaraswamy MD On Loan to Saint Thomas Aquinas Seminary" on the half title. Harvard trained MD Coomaraswamy retired from medicine then was ordained at Saint Thomas Aquinas Seminary and devoted his writing to reconciling religion with psychiatry. Ex-library status makes this a reading/research/reference copy.
