255 pages, including plates; 194-255 "written by Dr. Stuber". This issue with frontispiece and first title page coloured; seven plates within, two of which have been coloured. Good: cloth soiled, gilt thoroughly dulled. Presentation inscription front and rear. First free endpaper excised, and first blank at rear lacking half. Chip off margin pp. 79, 213, 239 with no loss of text. A few short closed tears, including title page; foxing and peripheral tidelines throughout.
