In a culture that is becoming more and more isolated, Liar sheds light on our need for genuine friendships and our even greater need for truth. As technology increasingly replaces people-honoring relationships, the characters in Liar model the strength in authentic connections and the necessity for truth to bring real freedom. The Liar has been warring against the kingdom of Struggle without opposition, and his greatest harvest is truth and freedom. Idiot. Unworthy. Weak. Worthless. Ugly. The villagers have become comfortable believing the lies and living under the shadows of isolation and shame. Liar's toll is deep and extends nearly to the souls of the people. Initially alone, Prince - unlikely named, as he is a poor, orphaned villager -unleashes a rebellion against Liar. In doing so, he unexpectedly discovers his greatest weapon. Truth. Can Prince save the mysterious woman dying from the wounds Liar has inflicted on her? Can he rescue his brother from certain death? Can he overcome his own fear and trust the King to help him? Prince must convince the villagers of Struggle to embrace truth and join the fight against Liar's wicked army. The outcome of the war depends on it, and the Kingdom of Struggle hangs in the balance. A call to arms To arms.…
