D P Goyal is Professor and Director, Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Shillong. He carries over thirty-five years of rich experience in teaching, research, and various leadership roles in institutions such as MDI Gurgaon, IMT Ghaziabad, Punjabi University, and Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala. He has also been a visiting professor at Aarhus University, Denmark, for about a decade. Prof. Goyal has already supervised 15 PhD research scholars; published over 60 research papers in peer-reviewed and category journals, and has been a principal investigator of several sponsored research projects. He has published /authored more than a dozen books which include a highly used textbook on Management Information Systems. He has also been the editor of a couple of research journals and is on the editorial board of several national and international journals.
Suprateek Sarker (“Supra”) is a Rolls-Royce Commonwealth Commerce Professor (Information Technology) at the McIntire School of Commerce, University of Virginia, USA. He teaches topics such as data management and business intelligence (BI), systems analysis and design, transformation of digital organizations, qualitative research approaches, and global immersion in India and the UAE. Prof. Sarker serves on the University-level Provost’s Promotion and Tenure Committee and has served on the college-level Undergraduate Policy Committee and the college-level Diversity Committee. He has been awarded the Whit Broome Award, 2023, by the McIntire School of Commerce. Prof. Sarker holds a visiting professorship at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and an honorary professorship of Business Information Systems at the University of Sydney Business School, Sydney, Australia.
Somnath Mukhopadhyay is Professor in Marketing and Management Department at the University of Texas at El Paso, USA; and has published in numerous top journals—Decision Sciences, INFORMS Journal on Computing, Communications of the AIS, IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks, Neural Networks, Neural Computation, International Journal of Production Economics, Journal of Forecasting, Computers and Industrial Engineering, and, Journal of World Business, among others. He obtained MS and PhD degrees in Management Science from Arizona State University, USA. He was a visiting research assistant in the parallel-distributed-processing group at Stanford University. He has over 15 years of industry experience in building and implementing mathematical models for American Airlines (pricing and revenue management), Delta Airlines (revenue management), and AG Communication Systems (quality software engineering of AT&T and GTE joint venture) among others. He is listed in Marquis 2011, 2012 Who’s Who in America.
Basav Roychoudhury is Professor of Information Systems & Analytics, and Dean - Research at Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Shillong. Having more than two decades of experience in academics, he has been teaching at IIM Shillong since its very inception. He obtained his PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from Tezpur University, India. His areas of interest include mobile computing—protocols and security, enterprise systems, and eGovernance, and he is passionate about business analytics and data modelling. He has been involved in consulting in the area of enterprise systems and eGovernance models and has also been collaborating with Government of India's Department of Electronics and IT (DeitY) and National Institute of Smart Governance (NISG) for manpower development. He had also been associated with SAP AG in their initiative under CSR to promote eGovernance in the Panchayats (local level government body in India serving a village or a group of villages). His research interests include data analytics, social media analytics, mobile computing—protocols and security.
Parijat Upadhyay is Associate Professor of Information Systems & Analytics at Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Shillong. He has rich experience of teaching and research in the domain of information systems and supply chain management. An alumnus of Symbiosis and XLRI Jamshedpur, he was associated with reputed academic institutes in India like IMT Ghaziabad, IMT Nagpur, Globsyn Business School, International School of Business and Media, B.C. Roy Engineering College and Asansol Girls’ College. He has been teaching courses like management information systems, e-business, enterprise resource planning, and supply chain management. He served as the faculty-in-charge for International Accreditation process handling AACSB accreditation process (2018-2020) at IMT Nagpur.
Pradeep Kumar Dadabada is Assistant Professor in Information Systems and Analytics at Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Shillong. He has more than eight years of teaching and R&D experience. Prior to joining the institute, he worked as Sr. Data Scientist at Innominds Pvt. Ltd. He has more than 20 publications in reputed journals and peer-reviewed conferences. A PhD in Computer Science from Institute for Development and Research in Banking Technology (IDRBT), Hyderabad, under University of Hyderabad, India, his research interests include data science, financial analytics, sustainability, optimization, and time series prediction.

You have the right to revoke this contract within one month without specifying any reasons.
The revocation period is one month with effect from the day,
on which you or a third party nominated by you, which is not the carrier, had taken possession of the products, provided you had ordered one or more products within the scope of a standard order and this/these product/products is/are delivered uniformly;
on which you or a third party nominated by you, which is not the carrier, had taken possession of the last product, provided you had ordered several products within the scope of a standard order and these products are delivered separately;
on which you or a third party nominated by you, which is not the carrier, had taken possession of the last part delivery or the last unit, provided you had ordered a product, which is delivered in several part deliveries or units;

In order to safeguard the revocation period, it is sufficient that you send the notification about the exercise of the revocation right before the expiry of the revocation period.
Consequences of the revocation
If you revoke this contract, we shall repay all the payments, which we received from you, including the delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs, which arise from that fact that you selected a form of delivery other than the most reasonable standard delivery offered by us), immediately and at the latest within 14 days from the day on which we received the notification about the revocation of this contract from you. We use the same means of payment, which you had originally used during the original transaction, for this repayment unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; you will not be charged any fees owing to this repayment.
We can refuse the repayment until the products are returned to us or until you have furnished evidence that you have sent the products back to us, depending on whichever is earlier.
You must return or transfer the products to us immediately and, in any case, at the latest within 14 days with effect from the day on which you inform us of the revocation of this contract. The deadline is maintained if you send the products before the expiry of the 14 day deadline.
You bear the direct costs for returning the products.
You must pay for any depreciation of the products only if this depreciation can be attributed to any handling with you that was not necessary for checking the condition, features and functionality of the products.
Criteria for exclusion or expiry
The revocation right is not available for contracts
for delivery of products, which are not prefabricated and for whose manufacturing an individual selection or stipulation by the consumer is important or which are clearly tailored to the personal requirements of the consumer;
for delivery of products, which can spoil quickly or whose use-by date would be exceeded quickly;
for delivery of alcoholic drinks, whose price was agreed at the time of concluding the contract, which however can be delivered 30 days after the conclusion of the contract at the earliest and whose current value depends on the fluctuations in the market, on which the entrepreneur has no influence;
for delivery of newspapers, periodicals or magazines with the exception of subscription contracts.
The revocation right expires prematurely in case of contracts
for delivery of sealed products, which are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if their seal has been removed after the delivery;
for delivery of products if they have been mixed inseparably with other goods after the delivery, owing to their condition;
for delivery of sound or video recording or computer software in a sealed package if the seal has been removed after the delivery.
