Druck auf Anfrage Neuware - Printed after ordering - Your heart races and you don't know why. A tone of voice, a certain smell, the way the light falls in a room-and suddenly you are no longer here. You are back there, in a moment your mind has tried to bury but your body has never forgotten. Complex trauma does not announce itself with a single event. It leaves its fingerprints on your nervous system, on the way you react before you can think, on the feeling that you are never quite safe. This is not about learning to control your reactions. It is about understanding what your body has been trying to tell you all along. When emotional flashbacks arrive without warning, they are not a sign of weakness. They are a sign that your system learned to survive in a world that was not safe. The goal is not to erase these responses. The goal is to recognize them, to name them, and to find small, steady ways to return to the present.Through gentle exploration of how trauma reshapes the nervous system, this book offers a language for what you have experienced. It does not promise to fix you because you are not broken. What it offers is a way to understand the map of your own survival and to find, in the midst of the storm, a single point of stillness that is yours.…
