Print on Demand. This book is a collection of letters written by a young Peruvian woman named Zilia, who was taken from her home and brought to a foreign land by Spanish conquerors. The letters are addressed to her beloved Aza, and they chronicle her experiences, her hopes, and her fears. This book provides a unique insight into the lives of the indigenous people of Peru during the Spanish conquest, and it sheds light on the devastating impact of colonialism on their culture and way of life. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book.
