Neuware - Hannah Mercer knows how to preserve history. As the archivist for the Delaney Maritime Museum, she can catalog storm logs, protect fragile letters, and build an exhibit from the pieces other people leave behind. What she cannot do is ignore the return of Willa Rowan-the woman who once kissed her beside the lighthouse cliffs and then quietly disappeared from her life. Willa has come back to Delaney to help residents contribute personal artifacts for a lighthouse exhibit, but the project becomes more than either woman expects when the Rowan family storage boxes reveal a cache of unsent letters spanning decades of hidden grief, forbidden love, and unfinished goodbyes. As Hannah and Willa uncover the truth behind the letters, Delaney begins confronting the losses it has kept neatly tucked away. But the hardest history to face may be their own. Because some words were never sent. Some grief was never named. And some people come back hoping they still know how to stay.
