Item description from seller

A lovely limited edition, being one of three hundred and fifty copies, of this illustrated facsimile of the letters that reframed Fletcher Christian as a vanished mutineer turned survivor and adventurer. In the publisher's original half calf binding with paper covered boards. A limited edition, being number one hundred and fifty two of three hunded and fifty copies. Illustrated with a colour frontispiece after Keith West, one further colour plate of Christian's parents, and numerous vignette engravings. Collated, complete. A facsimile of the 1796 work originally published asLetters from Mr Fletcher Christian, Containing a Narrative of the Transactions on Board His Majesty"s Ship Bounty, Before and After the Mutiny, with His Subsequent Voyages and Travels in South America. In the publisher's original half calf binding with paper covered boards.Externally, very smart. The odd light handling mark to boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean. Near Fine. …
