Paperback. When the lights go out, Leo's mind switches on. He replays every game, every sound, every idea - until sleep feels a million miles away. Screens, stories, and big feelings swirl together, leaving Leo wide awake and full of restless energy. Then, one night, Robbie the Power Down Robot comes to life - glowing softly and speaking in gentle tones. Robbie doesn't scold or rush. Instead, he shows Leo calming techniques to help his busy mind settle: drawing what's inside his head, balloon breathing, tapping to release tension, relaxing his body part by part, and using imagination to build peaceful dreams.Together, they create a bedtime routine that feels calm, playful, and safe - helping Leo learn that powering down is not about losing fun, but about recharging his inner battery. This soothing story introduces children to the importance of emotional regulation, sensory calm, and healthy sleep habits in a screen-filled world. It gently models how co-regulation, creativity, and body awareness can help children transition from stimulation to rest - turning bedtime into an empowering experience instead of a nightly struggle. Each Inner Harmony Haven book blends therapeutic storytelling with evidence-based coping strategies, giving children and families practical tools to support emotional wellbeing, attention, and resilience through imaginative play.Parents and carers will find reflection notes and a Strategic Toolbox filled with easy-to-use calming routines - including breathwork, creative expression, tapping, and guided relaxation - all designed to help children unwind and reconnect before sleep.A valuable resource for parents, educators, therapists, and creative arts practitioners, Leo and the Power Down Robothelps children aged 6-12 transform bedtime anxiety into confidence, calm, and rest.Series: Inner Harmony Haven: Children's Books for Big Feelings and Coping Skills - where imagination meets emotional learning through stories of co-regulation, compassion, and growth.
