I know these rats. I've been some of them, too! Nearly a decade ago my husband and I started a franchise business. Overcoming many of the challenges in this book helped us to be the most successful franchise in the company. Because of our success, I was asked to train business owners. My experiences led to The PLAN Piper and eventually this book.

The concept for Legendary Business was nudged into my consciousness by my friend. She told me to write a book with a story. Like most things for me it didn't stay that simple. The book morphed into not just one, but five stories. (With more books planned for the future!)

The book is designed to examine one rat at a time. After each biography titled "Oh, Rats!" is a section called "Pay the Piper." That's where the fun begins! Real world advice, tips, action items, and more are detailed here. One early manuscript reader said she was going to make a list to remind herself daily of the concepts she found helpful.

You make your own success and success is something only you can define. One thing is certain. Nothing changes until you move. You must be in ACTION. So, don't just read this book. Sharon was raised by awesome parents in Pennsylvania. They encouraged her to test her wings, spread them and fly. She flew to New York where she met the love of her life, father of her two amazing daughters and business partner, Peter. After successful careers in New York they returned to the homeland of Sharon's mother, North Carolina. It was here that they started Home Video Studio-Apex. (In "The Peak of Good Living." No lie. That's the town motto.) Sharon and Peter started the studio in their house with a goal to move to a retail location in five years. They achieved that goal with months to spare. Hard work, creativity, training, implementation (action) and teamwork combined to make Home Video Studio-Apex the most successful studio in the international system. Not only have the Galluzzos been recognized by their franchise with more than 25 awards, they also were named Small Business of the Year by the Apex Chamber of Commerce and "Best of" by Cary Living Magazine. In addition to other honors, they are annually recognized by Angie's List with the Super Service Award. Sharon and Peter are deeply rooted in the community and are involved in many organizations. Because of their unprecedented success with Home Video Studio, Sharon was asked to train other studio owners on "how they did it." This led to the creation of The PLAN Piper training program.
