Meet Roland, the loyal knight and nephew of the illustrious Emperor Charlemagne. In an era marked by relentless wars and fragile alliances, Roland embodies courage, loyalty, and unwavering faith. Follow him through his epic battles against the Saxon armies and the formidable Muslim forces, where each fight is a struggle for honor and the survival of the Christian Empire.
Religious and Political ConflictsMedieval Europe is a complex battleground where the Christian-Muslim duality shapes the fate of kingdoms. Leading the Franks, Charlemagne dreams of unifying Europe under the banner of the Christian faith, while the pagan King Marsile, a devoted servant of Mahomet and a prior of Apollin, challenges his authority. This power struggle, rife with intrigue and betrayal, sets the perfect stage for Roland’s rise as a living legend.
