Paperback. Born in the icy lands of Scandinavia, Lagertha's tale is one of unyielding strength, fierce love, and unshakable resolve. From her humble beginnings as a farmer's daughter to her rise as one of the most formidable shieldmaidens of Viking legend, Lagertha's life unfolds as a tapestry of triumphs and tragedies.Standing side by side with her husband, the legendary Ragnar Lothbrok, Lagertha fights not only for survival but for a legacy. Together, they forge a bond in the fires of battle, a love tested by the brutal realities of Viking life and the unrelenting pursuit of glory. But as fate would have it, Lagertha's path diverges from Ragnar's, leading her into new alliances, untold heartbreak, and a journey that shapes her into a legend in her own right.Through vivid battles, tender moments, and the unbreakable bond of family, The Legend of Lagertha: Wife of Ragnar is a gripping tale of a woman who defied expectations and carved her name into history. For those eager to separate truth from fiction, the book includes a meticulously researched timeline of Lagertha's life to dispel the myths and illuminate the truth behind the legend.
