It also considers the nature of legal argument and the deployment of logic, reason and rationality in the exercise of that skill. And the extent to which intuition and instinct play a major role in legal analysis and judicial decision making. The philosophical and conceptual nature of law and its intrinsic and empirical beauty and wonder are explored and illustrated in a perceptive and insightful way.
