Faint dampstain on first few leaves and pale dampstain on last two (uncoloured) plates and leaves of text, otherwise a very clean copy. Modern half calf antique, spine gilt, green morocco label. FIRST EDITION. G&M 5845. ?The first systematic English textbook on ophthalmic surgery and the second such text published anywhere.
