Original staple-bound tan printed wraps 13 x 17cm. 12pp in closely spaced small font. The printer’s code indicates 15,000 copies were printed by H&S (Harrison and Sons) in November 1914. Good only, creased and spotted, with Keith Simpson’s name in ink to the top edge of the title page (possibly the military historian) and some sidelines and underlines in ink. Very rare, with 3 locations on Worldcat and Jisc (Durham University, University of Calgary, Canadian Museum of History and Canadian War Museum). Drawing on the instructions of Duke Albrecht of Wurtemberg which had been found on the body of a German or a prisoner, experiences in South Africa and more recently against Germany, this presents lessons in trench warfare, reconnaissance, dealing with artillery, German spies, snipers, etc. It includes Rawlinson’s introduction, discussion, and closing remarks.…

Shipping terms
SHIPPING: Domestic and international shipping is tracked and insured with UPS. This has unfortunately meant an increase in domestic rates especially, and in most cases I am absorbing some of the increase. (I have moved away from Royal Mail owing to a series of problems).
DELIVERY DEADLINES: If you have a hard deadline for receipt that is before the processing time stated on Abe, eg, if you need it to arrive urgently before you travel or before a particular event, please contact me at the time of order to advise, so options can be discussed and steps taken to ensure it gets there in time.
RETURNS: Please return any items for refund within 30 days of the estimated delivery date, and contact me first with the reason for the return to establish whether postal costs will be included in the refund. If the item is not as described, I will cover the original and return post.
