Print on Demand. This book explores the development of civilization through history, arguing that it is not a product of human invention or natural forces alone, but rather the result of a divine plan working in conjunction with human efforts. The author traces the influence of this divine guidance throughout history, from the earliest civilizations to the present day, highlighting the role of religion, culture, and human nature in shaping its course. The book delves into the complex interplay between these factors, examining the rise and fall of civilizations, the evolution of ideas, and the impact of human choices on the trajectory of history. The author demonstrates how understanding the divine dimension in civilization sheds light on the challenges and opportunities facing humanity, and provides a framework for understanding our place in the larger scheme of things. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book.…

We cannot stop to inquire into the cause of this error so extensively dif fused, but the student will be aided in finding it, if he will reflect on another very common mistake, akin to the mentioned one. It consists in allowing our selves to be deceived by a distinct word for an indistinct idea, as if the latter were as concise and definite in our minds, as the sound of the first is distinct and definite in our ears. Languages in which it is grammatically easy to ah stract, such as the Greek and German, are peculiarly apt to mislead the philo sopher into this very serious error.
