Neuware - A unique blend of travel narrative and coming-of-age recollections, Leaving Europe traces Monique Hendricks' thirty-year journey from Switzerland, where she was born, to the United States, with sojourns in England, Germany, Belgium and Iceland along the way. Each chapter follows Monique to a different country through the subjective lens of her experiences. The book also recounts the author's troubled relationship with her father, from whom she tries to distance herself by moving away. Ten international relocations and one dissolved marriage later, will she find a place to call home.
