In the valley of Larkmoor, people are disappearing — and nobody notices but Milo.

A baker. A woman who sold yellow apples. A boy who waved with his whole arm.
One by one they blink out, the gap heals over, and the whole village keeps smiling like they were never there at all.

Milo remembers every one. He can't help it. He never could.

So he holds them — all of them, all their names, stacked up inside him with nowhere to put them down. But holding everyone is what's breaking the game, and the clock over the valley says Larkmoor has hours left.

To save it, Milo has to do the one thing he has never managed.

He has to let go.

FOR PARENTS

Ages 8–12. About 29,000 words across 24 short chapters. Written for confident readers and for kids still building stamina.

For the kid who'd rather be on a screen. Short chapters, a ticking clock, and a story that moves like a run through a level.

This is the tender one. Book 1 was funny, Book 5 was a mystery — this one is about memory, and missing people, and learning to set a heavy thing down. It's told through Milo, the kid on the squad who quietly carries everyone else. What he has to figure out is that keeping someone and letting them go aren't opposites — and that grief shared out is lighter than grief swallowed alone.

Content: no romance, no violence, no bad language. Nobody dies and nothing is frightening — villagers are forgotten and then remembered. It is sad in places, on purpose, and it ends warm and hopeful, with everyone all right.

Book 6 of the Wanderweft series from Kids Fun Learn Club, the kids' learning channel run by 11-year-old Parikshet and his dad. The complete ten-book series. Reads on its own — reading in order adds more. In order: Noob Squad, Everybody Remembers, Nobody Wins, Never Seen, Nobody Did It, Everybody Leaves, Nothing Adds Up, Nothing Stays Saved, Nobody's Coming, Everybody Ends.
